I live in Wisconsin and was recently fired from my job as a youth minister at a church due to alleged ethical misconduct. I am not in a protected class, but I have strong documentation of the events. What can I do, especially since lawyers specializing in workplace law seem unwilling to take my case due to my inability to afford their fees?

I had previous back surgery 20 years ago. I injured my back at work, but my employer won't allow me to file for workers' compensation, claiming my previous surgery disqualifies me. They also won't let me return to work until I have an MRI, which I can't afford without insurance or workers' comp. What should I do?

I did a background check on my mother's boyfriend who has been impersonating the owner of a major law firm in Florida and harassing me for money. I borrowed a loan from my mother when I was her durable power of attorney, which has since been rescinded. I have made payments to her, but the checks are being cashed by her boyfriend. My mother has spent a significant amount of money, and her checking account is nearly empty. The boyfriend has a criminal record and owes the IRS. How can I inform my mother about his true identity and protect her without breaking the law?
