I have an automotive repair shop. While driving a customer's car to verify a fix, we got into a car accident. We found out the customer only had SR22 insurance, which was not valid for us driving the car, leading to impoundment. Our business insurance covers the damages to the cars involved, but the impound wants $600 to release the car. Are we responsible for the impound fees, or is this the customer's responsibility?
