On a job application, it asks if I have ever been convicted of a crime. I had a DUI in California back in 2001. Do I have to answer 'Yes' to this question if the conviction was not expunged?

I won both SSDI and SSI in superior court in NJ due to special circumstances and fraud by the SS bureau. I am being told by the state I moved to (Florida) that I don't qualify for what I was awarded. I have received a letter from the Mid-Atlantic office asking if I want to "apply" for SSI. I have never received the SSI part of my award, and whenever I apply, I get turned down because the SSD amount was based on my 30 years of full-time employment before I was seriously injured. I am now 62 and don't know whether to go to the SS bureau themselves, hire an elder attorney, pay another disability attorney, try to fix this with the local office, the Mid-Atlantic office, or what. They are using the SSD amount to say I don't qualify for the SSI amount, but I was left permanently disabled and need the benefits you can get with SSI because of prescriptions, medical costs, rising home costs, etc. Convicted felons actually get more than I do with the check, phone, utility discounts, Section 8, and food stamps. I have also been told that poor Florida has less money than NJ where I lived and worked my whole life.

After the incident, I was asked to leave the property by security and the police told me not to return or I could be sent to jail. They suggested I could dispute this online. How can I follow the police's instructions and dispute this online to regain access to the property?

I believe I am being singled out by the development's trustees, who have not responded to my lawyer's inquiries. In New York State, there is a question regarding the distinction in the Statute of Limitations for types of Judgments (Monetary vs. Property) and whether the '9th year' filing is relevant to either. Specifically, does the collection agency have to renew in the 9th year for a monetary judgment, and does the judgment resulting in a property lien make a difference?
