My 18-year-old daughter broke up with her 18-year-old boyfriend who gave her a spiral notebook full of handwritten notes for studying physics. After the breakup, he demanded the notebook back, but she couldn't find it. The campus police officer, who is friends with the ex-boyfriend and his family, threatened to charge her with vandalism and criminal mischief if she doesn't return the notebook by Friday. A newspaper reporter accused me of falsifying my military service record, which includes five honorable discharges from five wars, including service in Iraq with the 1/4 Cavalry in 2009. I was seriously wounded when my Stryker vehicle was hit by an RPG. Despite having documents to prove my service, the reporter turned me in to the 'STOLEN VALOR BLOG,' which has accused me of being a 'STOLEN VALOR CANDIDATE FOR 2013.' They are deliberately destroying my reputation without verifying the facts. What legal recourse do I have to make them acknowledge my record and compensate for the damage to my reputation?

My biological father passed away in Illinois, leaving me as executor of his estate in Texas. The bank emptied his checking account to pay off the mortgage, and now foreclosure proceedings are set to begin unless I make the payments. Is there anything I can do to prolong the foreclosure aside from making the payments?

Can I sue my job for discrimination, harassment, and retaliation? I experience daily humiliation, suspicion of theft, sexual harassment, and discrimination. I have sent multiple letters to the EEOC explaining my situation, but have not received any responses. I am concerned about potential consequences at work and want to know the next steps to take.
