My 31-year-old son, who is disabled since birth and on SSI, recently got a full-time job through the Ticket to Work program. The company offered him insurance, and the enrollment period ends Friday. He is currently on my company insurance as primary and state Medicaid as secondary. Does he have to accept the insurance from the new job? Can he waive it and switch to MAWD for Medicaid while keeping my coverage as primary until he's sure about the job? What are the legal implications in Pennsylvania?
