My business partner, who owns 90% of our company, is getting a divorce and his soon-to-be ex-wife is holding our business website hostage. She won't release the codes to add a shopping cart and is intercepting emails. What legally can I do as a 5% owner of the company, not involved in the divorce?

I operate a tax prep business in an office building near the Texans Football Stadium/Arena. Each year, during the Rodeo season, my landlord rents out our parking lot to Rodeo patrons, starting at 4:00 PM. This causes significant parking issues for my clients and other tenants' customers, affecting our business during the prime tax season in February and March. My landlord claims they rent to us from 7 AM to 7 PM, so why not start the Rodeo parking at 7 PM? Do we have any legal recourse against this practice?

My uncle lived in a trailer on my property for 15 years without a title. He passed away recently, and his estranged wife is now trying to move into the trailer. Who owns the trailer, and can she rightfully move into it while it's on my property?

My wife and I have been separated for 9 months after 21 years together. She had an affair and now wants a divorce. We have significant debt, and she refuses to take on any debt despite receiving child support. I earn significantly more than her, and I'm worried the court won't make her responsible for any of the debt, leaving me financially ruined. Can you provide advice on how to handle this situation?

I want to purchase ACA Marketplace insurance on October 1st and drop my current insurance plan on January 1st when the marketplace goes into effect. Will I be able to continue to get treatment in Texas while living in Georgia with an insurance plan through the ACA marketplace?

I defaulted on a student loan from American Education Services (AES) approximately 6 years ago. The loan is now $21K, and I have started receiving letters from local lawyers stating that I am being sued by AES. I live in Florida, take home $1200 bi-weekly, and have yet to receive a summon for a court date. I am willing to negotiate but am concerned about the affordability of the proposed $450 monthly payment. My questions are: Will there be a court hearing where I can attend, or will a judgment just be made? If I get a lawyer, could they negotiate a lower monthly payment? Can I file for Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy with this loan? Additionally, I am unsure if the loan is private or government-insured, and I am seeking legal advice and direction.
