My Dad died in July in the state of Kansas. He had a will. My Mom is still alive. Did she have to go to an attorney or anything with Dad's will and do anything? The only thing they owned was their van and household possessions. Does Mom need to take that will to lawyer and it go to probate or anything? She has been "dealing" with his wishes by herself.
