In our subdivision, the Board of Directors requires that proxies for voting must be notarized, which most members dispute. The bylaws were changed a few years ago with the intention to eliminate this requirement, but a Board Member who is a lawyer insists that proxies still need to be notarized. Can you review the voting section of our bylaws and clarify whether proxies need to be notarized based on the current version and the intent of the 2018 bylaw change?

In my state, fax filing is a legal form of service. The opposing attorney claims they did not receive the full fax and asked me to resubmit. I have the fax confirmation showing they received the full fax. I am worried that if I resubmit, they will claim I did not submit discovery soon enough. What evidence will hold up in court: my fax confirmation or their claim?
