My daughter was voluntarily admitted to a hospital in Panama City, Florida, for Baker Act suicide watch and was treated poorly, including being placed in the ER hallway for three days instead of a room, despite available rooms. She was not given privacy during therapy sessions and was initially denied access to shower facilities, which were later found to be available. After complaining to the ER director, the hospital director offered $10,000 for the poor treatment. Should we accept the offer or consider suing?
