My domestic indoor cat has bitten my wife twice in two years. The first incident was while clipping her nails, and the second was while applying flea medication. The cat is current on her vaccinations, including rabies, and is not aggressive but gets scared when handled. My wife went to urgent care for both bites and was prescribed amoxicillin.
