My father is in jail after a verbal argument. He was attacked by another inmate after an officer opened his cell door, and he is now being denied medical attention despite needing it due to heart surgery, knee replacement surgery, and injuries from the attack. Is it legal for the jail to deny him medical attention, and is it legal for the officer to allow the attack? How should I proceed?

I signed a consent judgment, and it seems my attorney and the other party's attorney made a deal. My attorney told me that if I did not sign, the judge would put a restraining order on me and I could possibly go to jail and be charged with a felony. I did nothing wrong; I was a victim of harassment. I decided to write the judge a letter, and he told me to get another attorney and was interested in my case. He could not comment otherwise and could not give legal advice. What kind of attorney do I need?

What law enforcement agency will help me if Grand Larceny by deceit is committed by someone from another state? The value of items was worth several thousand dollars. Class C felony. The perpetrator drove here (Cameron Mo.) from Alabama to care for me while I was recovering from surgery, and during that time, she robbed my home of many high-end items.
