My fiancé, Jacob Vanni, is being held by Customs at Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC for not having the necessary paperwork to bring a Banker's Draft into the United States. He received the draft in Turkey and was told the certificate from Turkey was sufficient. Now, Customs is demanding a $6,000 fine or he will face Federal Court and jail time. Is there any way to verify his situation and avoid these penalties?

I accepted a $56,600 offer from Carvana to sell my 2021 Ford F-150 Crewcab, which I used to finance the purchase of a new 2022 GMC Sierra.
