My former employer included a statement in their appeal submission to UIC, which was then sent to me, stating that while it is not established that I acted intentionally to harm the employer's business, there is a criminal investigation underway and if harm is established later, they expect the benefits paid to be returned. I was not taken to the police station for questioning, but only asked a few questions in the office. How do I best deal with an ex who continuously reaches out with burner phone numbers via text (because his phone is blocked) to make horrible comments to me? He doesn't threaten, but is making wild accusations to me still when the ship has sailed and we've been no contact. I am in Ohio.

I am going through a divorce. My wife is claiming our son broke into her house and stole her jewelry, leading to his arrest. The judge has put child support on hold and may order no support if my son is found guilty. Can the judge do this? Additionally, the court is saying my pre-existing disability may affect my entitlement to spousal support, and I may have to pay back the support received. Is this allowed?

What is the reasonable amount of time that a carrier can be late in delivering product to a shipping location, and is there any law that states the time frame in which a carrier can locate missing shipments and still be eligible for payment?

I have a nice car and house, but I am unable to get a job or drive for errands due to a local 'doctor' at Kaiser Permanente who decided I could not drive anymore. My husband is in hospice and wants someone to drive me around. I drive well and my driving record was always clean. What can I do to challenge this decision?

My daughter is being charged by her apartment for pet deposits that she claims she has picked up and disposed of. The apartment has her dog's DNA and is claiming that she has not picked up the deposits on several occasions. Is there any legal recourse for her?
