My friend skid in my car and hit a light pole. I was in shock and drove a mile up the street and pulled over. The police wrote 4 citations: OUI, leaving the scene of an accident, property damage-the pole, and resisting arrest. I have never been in trouble with the law. What can happen to me in Massachusetts?

I want to import gas bicycles from China. They are 2-stroke, 50cc, with a maximum speed of 25 to 30 KM/H, single-speed, and have a gas tank capacity of one gallon. Do I need an EPA number for it? Are there any restrictions to importing these bikes?

My elderly father (80 years old) battled lung cancer 3 years ago and has COPD (emphysema). He is concerned about his property rights and wants to ensure that after his death, the house and his belongings remain family-owned. His current mortgage is $60,000 on a home worth approximately $150-200,000 in the current market. Should one of us (his 9 children) buy the house now, or would it be wiser to set up a trust? The location is Cook County / Streamwood, IL.

I have a lien on my car from Hiday and Ricci, with a 1999 default judgment that has accumulated to $16k. The car is worth $13k. I'm in Florida and recently paid off the car loan, but the Sheriff's levy has towed my car away. I believe I can get the judgment set aside due to improper service. What are my options for exemptions, and how do I file an Affidavit of Exemption? Additionally, as a disabled person, what can I do to dispute this action?

I loaned my ex-boyfriend a significant amount of money over a year while he was unemployed, and he signed agreements to repay these loans. He has not paid anything back and has shown destructive and abusive behavior. Now that he has a new job, I want to know how to attempt to get my money back.

I went to court for an eviction on October 21st but did not see a judge. My landlord and I made an agreement outside of court due to my proof that my living space is uninhabitable. We agreed to no back pay and 60 days to move without further payment. The judge signed off on this agreement, and we must vacate by December 21st. Due to hardships, I need more time, at least until January 6th. What can I do to extend the vacate date, and can I sue the landlord for relocation costs or damages since the property is uninhabitable?
