My husband was jailed on August 13 and was promised time served and classes if he pleaded guilty. However, after a fight at home, he was given 35 days in jail. I hired a lawyer after the hearing, who took $1,500 but has not helped. What can I do to get him out, at least on job release or out for our daughter's sake?

In a divorce case, my ex-spouse provided inconsistent affidavits, leading to a judgment against me. The State found these affidavits to be fraudulent. My attorney was removed from the case, and I was not allowed to present evidence at a hearing. The State is now requesting reconsideration due to departmental timing issues. What legal actions can I take to address these issues, including the potential for fraud, negligence, and malicious prosecution?
