I asked for protection from the police due to indirect threats on the internet and over the phone. I provided screenshots but the police did not review them and instead took me to the hospital involuntarily, despite my lack of suicidal or homicidal tendencies. What were the legal grounds for their actions, and how can I understand the justification for my involuntary commitment?
