My landlord in Oregon has introduced a new rule requiring me to keep my ground-floor bedroom window closed and locked when I'm not at home, which was not part of the original lease. He has also entered my room without permission to check the window. Is this a significant alteration to our agreement, and do I need to agree to it in writing before complying, or am I required to follow this new rule without recourse?
