My landlord is selling the building I live in, and I owe him $1,000 in rent. I was initially given until the end of January to leave, but now I have been given 11 days to vacate. I have a sick mother and two underage nephews to care for. Is there any way I can buy more time to find a new place?

My ex is refusing to give me my dog back, even though she is legally licensed in my name. I have a CPO against my ex that states I was allowed to get all my things from his house, which he still won't let me get. I'm in fear for my dog's well-being and life, as I've witnessed him abuse her. What can I do to get her back?

Our HOA CCRs state that a dog cannot be on the back lawn with an accompanying adult. We have been cited and have a hearing on January 14th regarding our dog being left alone in the back lawn (15' x 25' approximate size). We have a doggie door for him to come and go as he wants. Is there any legal ground we can cite to help us fight this issue?
