My life-partner of 28 years and I want to downsize by selling our current home and buying a smaller, cheaper property. We've been living in a house that we've been paying the mortgage for, but it's in my partner's son's name. We've asked him to add my partner's name to the deed for over two years, but he hasn't done it. I have a significant tax lien that prevents me from being part of this transaction. What is the best way to handle this situation to ensure we get the proceeds from the sale without financial burden or impact on the son?

I purchased a house about 3 1/2 years ago and recently fell down the stairs, sustaining injuries. I discovered that a piece of trim was loose at the top of the stairs, which I believe was caused by the realtor dragging an inflatable bed upstairs during the move-in process. I want to know the legality of suing the realtor for negligence or fraud, considering the house was represented as 'move-in ready' and the trim issue could have contributed to my fall.

My mom's medical case was dismissed with prejudice. The lawyer said they've been trying to reach me, but I haven't heard anything since November. I didn't receive a phone call or message informing me that the trial wasn't supposed to go until 2022. Can I sue the lawyers that took on my mom's case? My mom passed away on January 17, 2021, and this is in response to the Gilead lawsuit. I am located in Maryland.
