My mom was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital by the court for suicidal ideation after surgery. Her 72-hour period has passed, and her attorney waived her right to be present at the hearing. We don't know the court's decision, and her court-appointed attorney won't communicate with us. The psychiatric facility plans to keep her until she is stable, but we believe she is declining due to being away from family. What options do we have?

I was botched by a plastic surgeon who refuses to acknowledge or correct me. I want to know what my rights are in regards to posting my own before and after photos on social media, and if I can do so without fear of repercussions. I am located in Miami, FL, and have experienced post-op ER admittance for necrosis and sepsis. I have reached out to three medical malpractice attorneys who declined to take my case due to the surgeon's well-protected status and wealth. Can I post my photos on social media, and do the photos belong to me?

I went to the clinic on the 4th of December with chest pain and was given a pregnancy test before an x-ray. I didn't know I was pregnant until I experienced severe cramps and a miscarriage on the 10th. The clinic never informed me of the pregnancy test results. Do I have a case for negligence or medical malpractice?
