My mother and I are disputing over my home that I was supposed to inherit from my father. She served me with a letter of ejection, and we have already gone to court several times. My mother can afford an expensive attorney, whereas I have been trying to fight this on my own by having paralegals complete documents. Today is supposed to be the trial. I had filed an Exparte for Motion of Continuance last week, in a desperate attempt to have more time to find an attorney, but it was denied. The judge suggested I take the issue up with another judge, but I am unsure if this means the trial is not today. The court calendar said 'Trial', but I had never heard of this name before. Does this mean the trial is not today, and if so, what should I do next?
