My parents, who are now ill and broke, have been giving a family member $15,000 to $20,000 per year for the last 20 years through checks, and cashed in CDs for about $35,000 in cash. Their monthly income of $5,200 would cover assisted living, but they've been denied acceptance to three facilities and are awaiting an examination at a fourth. I intend to file a Civil action against a state official in North Carolina who has the authority to investigate a state agency from which my retirement funds were stolen. The state officer has given me notice that she will not investigate. Provide me with an appropriate statute under which I may file my civil complaint.

I had a negative experience with a bridal store in Maryland, where they repeatedly changed my dress delivery date and failed to fulfill their promise of altering the dress. I want to share my story with other brides by handing out a piece of paper as I leave the store, but I'm concerned about legal repercussions. What are the legal implications of doing this, and what are my options for addressing this issue legally?

I have a car that is garaged, and I am mobility impaired and can't do this alone. Do I need to have the title for an 11-year-old car? Can I demand access to the garage? Also, I have been told that the owner's license is revoked. Can I find out the status of his license?
