My son is buying a house and I gifted him $2800. We signed the papers for this, and now they are asking for John’s bank statement, which is shy 6 days for a 30-day bank statement. They require a full 30-day bank statement showing at least one day after the gift check was taken out of his account. They also need to source any non-payroll deposits to ensure they were not from unallowed sources such as the seller or a realtor. Can he supply a copy of the check and a copy of the deposit slip for each of these deposits? Additionally, if there are any other non-payroll deposits on the new bank statement supplied, they will need proof of those as well.

I paid $8,000.03 for the ring, but the highest resale value I was offered was $2,200. Do I have grounds to sue my ex for the value or partial value of the ring?

Someone I know sent me prescription drugs via UPS. I accidentally left them at their house. She lives in Nevada and I in Utah. When I checked the tracking number, it said that a Government hold had been put on them. The pills weren't in the original bottle. The guy at UPS said there would be no problem, and she declared what they were (Lortab). So my question is how much trouble is she or me in? I didn't even know she was sending them until she told me they were on their way.
