My twins and I lease an apartment. Although they are still in high school, they just turned 18 and were forced to sign the lease to be responsible for any expenses. I think this is wrong as kids their age go off to college, elope, join the army, etc. This worries me that since I am disabled and may not be able to stay here and give proper notice to leave that their credit will be attacked. The judge will legally emancipate them from child support at age 19.

I am seeking legal assistance for a case involving the Kodiak Island Borough, potential negligence, and mental disability issues. They have repeatedly provided me with false information about property taxes I do not owe, causing significant mental stress and physical health issues. My local lawyer is not being helpful, and I am looking for a law firm in the lower 48 states that can practice in Alaska or a reference to a lawyer who can help. Is this possible?
