I am located in Kuwait and have paid over $55,000 for upgrades on five bikes through a company in North Carolina. The person handling my deal left the company without providing updates on my orders, and I have received no information about the status of my bikes. I have a hypothetical question about a legal case involving a tool manufactured by Barnes Tools and distributed by Tool r Us. A user of the tool, who was pregnant at the time, lost three fingers in an accident and her baby is suffering from episodes of Apnea possibly related to the accident. As a legal assistant, I want to know what documents are necessary for disclosure, what the plaintiffs would produce, and how Interrogatories and requests for production would work. Additionally, would an Independent Medical Examination be appropriate in this case?

If insurance denied an MRI and a year later I was diagnosed with breast cancer that spread to lymph nodes, do I have a case for pain and suffering since it's now 1 1/2 years later and I am still needing a second reconstruction surgery due to radiation damage? I feel with family history there should never have been a denial. I didn't appeal the decision and I also didn't get any support from my OBGYN. Also, the imaging doctor wrote in my report a year prior that I should have an MRI, but I was never notified and received a generic letter stating to have routine screening. I believe that was negligent. My cancer was advanced when I discovered the tumor and is stage 3.

In a civil proceeding involving business fraud, if a judgment is ordered against a business, can you also go after the business owners' personal property? Additionally, if the judgment is in one state, can it be enforced on personal property in another state?
