Someone opened a bank account in my name and deposited my payroll check that had already been deposited into my account. The money was taken from my real account. The fraudulent bank says they have footage of the person. Can they send this video to me, or does it have to go to law enforcement? I am in Texas and have filed a fraud claim to retrieve my money. I don’t bank with them, so I don’t know how that would work. Additionally, when something like this happens, would I have to contact the police, or would they automatically come to me? Does the amount of the transaction make a difference in how they handle the situation?

In the State of Michigan, if a husband and wife jointly draft a will and the husband dies, does the wife have 100% control over the estate and the ability to nullify the joint will and draft a new one? Additionally, if the wife has since passed away, how can I obtain a copy of the joint will they signed before the husband's death?

The attorney I hired for modification 2 1/2 years ago told me he filed already last year but my husband never got anything from the courts about a denial for it and just heard bad things about his attorney. Is this usual?

I hired a contractor in Virginia 15 months ago to complete a job that should have taken no longer than a month for $5000. I paid $2500 upfront, but he only completed 25% of the work. I fired him due to his delays and poor work quality, but he is now demanding additional payment for work he did not do and threatening to remove a door he installed. Can he legally take the door, and what legal actions can I take to resolve this issue?
