SSA discovered the death in December 2017 and requested Treasury to collect overpayments. Treasury sent a notice of reclamation to WF in September 2018, asking for a refund of 69k, which was paid and deducted from the account. However, I calculate that 87k was the total overpaid. Will Treasury ask for another reclamation, and is it safe to close the account? Additionally, what is the statute of limitations on a matter like this?

We recently purchased a new construction home and discovered that the builders have been using our electrical outlets and outdoor spigots without permission. They left one of their hoses connected to it and have not offered to pay for the utilities they used. What can we do legally since they never asked our permission and never offered to pay?

The neighbors to the east of me vacated their house and I’ve tried to get answers whether they’re selling it or not but nobody seems to know and there’s no for sale sign. The problem is there’s absolutely no light over there and they’re right beside my house. Our town has been having increasing break-ins and petty thievery etc. and to me the city should ask the owners to at least leave a light on in the yard. As I am single and a female it’s just very disconcerting coming home at night and it’s pitch black over there and it’s a dead-end street with woods beside the house. Please advise.
