The auto shop returned my car with multiple problems: nicks in paint, leak into car, window won't go down all the way, and vibration at 65 mph. They wanted me to give it back right away at the end of July, but since it is a convertible, I told the owner that I would bring it in in September. I also held $3200 back on payment. He has already received $11,000. I emailed him last week on the 19th and 23rd saying I wanted to drop it off on the day after Labor Day for one week to be repaired. No response. The second email said if there was no response by yesterday, I was to assume he did not want to complete the job. I am sending a certified letter today to him stating about the emails and that I am getting the rest of my repairs done elsewhere with the remaining funds. My concern is when he sees my name, he won't sign for the letter. Any advice would be appreciated.

What does the law say about eviction in North Dakota? Specifically, can a landlord legally evict a tenant if they have the rent money but pay it after the deadline?

Is the lease between me and the landlord legal and binding, given that he is not the actual owner of the property and is buying it through a land contract from his aunt? Additionally, he has recently lost his job and is behind on mortgage payments, and there are safety concerns due to his behavior.

I leased a car and the lease end date was up on 5/25/19, but I still had the vehicle. I continued to receive invoices which I paid, and my payments were accepted. The car was due again on 7/25/19, and on 8/21/19, without notice, my car was repossessed. I live in Pennsylvania and intended to buy the car, but it was taken to auction. What can I do, and if the car payments were made, is this legal?

My brother hit my girlfriend's car twice, and he refuses to pay for the damage caused. We have not filed an insurance claim yet. What should we do, and is it too late to file a claim since the damage occurred in March and April?
