The company union contract for employees hired under an old contract states that they do not have to travel between locations, unlike new employees. Some locations are more than 60 miles from home and travel is not compensated. One employee under the old contract only travels to a store close to her home, placing the burden of traveling greater distances on others. My thoughts are that once she is willing to go to any store regardless of the distance, that should void her old contract and she should be required to travel to other stores as well, to make travel more fair to the rest of us. Is this considered unfair labor practices?

If I gave a washer and dryer to somebody and they stole my landlord's dolly when they came to pick it up, am I responsible to replace the stolen dolly? I wasn't even in the same state when it happened. Additionally, can a landlord hold my security deposit for any amount of time, especially if they believe it's related to this dolly incident? What are some laws regarding security deposits?

I have an order of motion that was granted for the other party in my civil case in Florida. My attorney did not inform me about the hearing or ask for my input on how to handle it, and I want to know if what he did is allowed. The motion granted an $8,000 lien on the judgment, which I did not consent to. I specifically told my attorney I was contesting the attorney fees, but he did not convey this to the judge. What are my options for contesting this and ensuring my attorney's actions are addressed?

If I am in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who suffered a traumatic brain injury and has not worked since, and he resides with me along with his 16-year-old daughter who was suddenly left in my care by her mother, can I legally have the daughter removed from my home, and how can I address financial issues related to my boyfriend's unpaid debts and his expectation that I support him and his daughter?

My workcomp case has been done for four months. There is $10,000 in MSA that I have not received. I found out the MSA was not submitted by the provider to CMS or MSPRC. Was this my lawyer's fault or the provider's? Should I get a civil lawyer and sue the provider?

We had a contract with a business to build a sunroom by the end of August. We still don't have the windows, and the contractor admitted he's out of money for completion. We already paid for the windows, and he's giving us a runaround. What should we do?
