I am a missionary in Mexico for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and this will be my 8th year as a Pastor of an English speaking church in Zihuatanejo. In the past, I was involved in drug dealing and did time in the Federal system. I would like to be released from this as it will allow me to live full-time in Mexico for my family and my ministry there and to be able to travel to Canada to visit churches who want to support our ministry. Is there any hope in obtaining a pardon, and if so, what do I do?

We have over $70k in debt, our house is 2 months overdue, and we live in Florida while my husband works in California. I have secured a lawyer for custody issues due to potential foreclosure. 80% of the debt is in my husband's name only. My lawyer advised against filing bankruptcy. Can we put my car in my name only so my husband can proceed with bankruptcy without it being considered fraud?

I was traveling on a street in NYC and a large metal wire hanging from a street lamp entangled my car, causing damage. My insurance company only paid for a portion, and I had to cover the rest. I filed a claim against the City of New York, but the city said it was a specific contractor's job and the contractor was liable, not the city. The contractor denied my claim because no one notified them about the problem before the accident, so they had no knowledge of it and were not liable. Is this true, and if not, what statute/law/liability precedent should be cited to refute their claim?
