Was staying at the Westin Hotel in Edmonton. On Wednesday when I arrived had my van valet parked. When I went to check out on Saturday asked the valet service to bring around my van, it wasn't there. I paid 250.00 night for the room and 25.50 a night to park. They parked my van in their lot outside around the back of the hotel. (I thought valet parking was a secure, underground parking) There were no security cameras or monitoring. They held the keys for my vehicle for those 4 days as everything I needed was within walking distance. I was wondering if I have the option to sue the Westin Hotel for the loss of my vehicle, the contents of approximately 2000.00 and the distress and time spent travelling, renting vehicles, etc. to get home 7 hours away, and once home having to switch rentals for insurance, etc. Is this worth pursuing?
