We are a landscape business in Texas. One of our vendors has contacted one of our customers threatening to put a lien on their property if we don’t pay them. They didn’t do work at the property but delivered the product we ordered there. We have been making partial payments, but they now refuse any partial payments and demand full payment. Is it legal for them to threaten a lien and refuse partial payments?

My significant other was Baker acted tonight due to a misunderstanding and won't be released until seen by a psychiatrist tomorrow at 3:00 PM. He is scheduled to start a new job at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. Can you help get him released sooner? This is urgent as we cannot afford for him to lose the job before he even starts.

If McCarthy makes any promises to get elected as the Speaker of the House, is he legally required to make good on his promises, or can he just change his mind and not follow through on promises like other politicians?

Do I need to stamp invoices posted for bookkeeping/accounting purposes, especially when they are all done digitally and moved to a POSTED folder once they’re posted? It feels redundant now.
