We are being harassed by a neighbor who has made multiple false allegations to local authorities about our pets and other neighbors. These include claims that our dogs attacked his wife's horse, that our horse was down and we did nothing to help, and that our dogs were barking under distress. None of these reports have resulted in citations against us. Other neighbors have also been harassed by this person, who has blocked the road, falsely accused them of hunting, and prevented guests from passing. We feel uncomfortable and intimidated by his actions. Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves from this harassment, such as a cease and desist letter or a no trespass order? Are there other legal options available?
