We have a lease vehicle with 720 miles on it. After discovering mold under the car mats, we took the vehicle back to the GM dealership, who fixed a leak in the air conditioner pan and replaced the carpeting. However, we are concerned about mold being in the air ducts, leather, and throughout the car. We've opened a case with General Motors but they won't talk to us due to a third party involvement, and we have not picked up the car. Is there any law protecting us from mold being in a brand new vehicle and us being required to take the leased vehicle?
