We live in Minnesota and my son was shot and has no medical insurance. He was released from the hospital and needed assistance while he recovered at home. I hired a personal care assistant (PCA) to assist with my son's care while at home. Does the PCA have to be licensed or have a certificate to be eligible for me to get reimbursement?

The PCA needs to be licensed or certified, or the company you hired the PCA through must be licensed...

I was arrested for theft and accused of taking meds from a bus rider. The newspaper reported that I had pills in my pocket during the arrest, but the officer stated to the reporter that he didn't know where I had left the pills, which is not true as I told him I had the bottle at home. This report is affecting my ability to find work. Does this violate HIPAA laws, and can I take action against the newspaper for the false impression it created?

I want to start my own home daycare business and have informed my parents, who I work for at a daycare. My director gave me a paper to sign stating I cannot take any kids from her daycare. Some parents want their child to come with me because they dislike change. Did I sign the paper, and if not, can I sue her for lost wages for pretending to have a paper that is not true?
