We own 80 acres of property and want to sell it. Can I sell it without giving up the mineral deed, which I bought about 17-20 years ago from the railroad? Can a loan be turned down if the prospective buyer does not have the mineral deed to the property? This land is our retirement fund, so we must make the right decision on the price to put on the farm.
