What does the non-compete clause in my employment agreement mean, specifically the part that states I cannot work for a competitive company of procurement software that includes software processing for various functions like Purchasing, Requisitions, Quotation, Receiving, Invoicing, Inventory, Asset Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Warehouses, T&E Reporting, Punch-out Supplier/Vendor Network, and Reverse Auction? Does this mean I can't work for a payroll company that sells T&E, even though they are not a procurement company?

In a small claims bench trial in Illinois, where my husband and I are plaintiffs alleging that a salesperson did not disclose the true return policy to make a sale, can we tell the judge what a second salesperson said about the return policy, and is that considered hearsay? Should we subpoena the second salesperson to appear in court, and does the first salesperson, who is named in the complaint, have to be present in court?

My husband and I are at a point of complete indifference, likely due to his alcoholism. I need to protect myself and my kids and want to make a life change. I am considering divorce and need guidance on how to proceed in New Jersey, including finding a suitable lawyer or mediator.

I am a Norwegian citizen looking to obtain a resale certificate to buy products from US distributors and sell them in the US market. Some people say I need an LLC in the USA, while others say I can use an LLC in Norway. What do I need to obtain a resale certificate, and does the LLC have to be in the USA?
