I want to sue my caregiver for abuse. Over time, I discovered he banned my family from visits, neglected me, abused his position as a doctor, did not allow family participation in my care, gave inaccurate diagnoses to my family, and stole my ID and SS card. Additionally, his girlfriend changed her appearance to resemble me. I have documentation for all these issues. What are my chances of having a strong case, and what type of lawyer do I need to hire as the statute of limitations is up in March?
