My husband's ex-wife forged a document in Santa Ana family court, leading to an order of lifetime alimony and a garnishment of $20,000 per month for several months. The judge has since stopped the garnishment, but we want the money paid back. Should I report this to the Santa Ana police, or should I involve my attorney through the family court?

I pawned a scooter to American Pawn in Moultrie, GA. When I went to pay it out for pickup, they couldn't find it and gave me a different one without informing me it was a replacement. Three weeks later, the original owners came looking for the scooter, and I was willing to return it but couldn't find it. I offered to compensate the owners, but the pawn shop owner took matters into his own hands, leading to a police report and a warrant being issued against me for theft by deception. I didn't deceive anyone and was willing to make up for the loss. How can I defend myself against these charges?

My wife and I found out that the State of Oregon had a destraint warrant against us. We went through a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2008, and the creditor was part of it. We were never served and had no knowledge of anything. Six years later, we learned of this when they filed for a foreign judgment in Arizona and Washington. What is the best approach?
