Can a bank refuse to give a loan, even if I have good credit, by saying I don't qualify?

I worked for Tyson Foods for 9 years and 7 months. One day, I left work after over 9 hours without notifying a member of management, as I had done every other day unless specifically told to stay. Two days before, they asked me to come in during my vacation for year-end inventory, which I declined. The day I left was my last day before a 4-day vacation. When I returned, I was fired for walking off the job, despite having completed all required tasks. I have filed for unemployment but was denied and am appealing. Can you help me?

I received a 20-day notice in Oklahoma for a past credit card debt of $1533.00 through Scott Loury Law Firm. The credit card had a limit of $500-$700. I agree the debt must be paid but stopped communication in 2009 after moving and facing foreclosure. They now found me and I can pay $1000. How should I respond to the court?

The man also severely injured my husband, who has a history of brain surgery and is at risk of paralysis or death from head or neck injuries. Do we have a case against the man and his girlfriend for the assault and injuries sustained?
