2 months ago, a stroller snapped closed on my thumb, causing it to feel bruised and sore. The soreness around the 2nd joint of my thumb persists and feels like a sharp, achy bruise when direct pressure is applied. I have a history of De Quervainâs Tenosynovitis, which usually causes pain in the wrist joint. Should I be concerned about the prolonged healing time for this injury, or is this normal?

I have an MRI study showing significant disc degeneration and stenosis in the entire lumbar area with thickened cauda equina. I am retaining urine significantly (prostate is fine after extensive diagnostics) and experiencing sexual difficulties. Would you say surgery is necessary? Immediately?

For two nights, I've had a swollen left leg, especially around the ankle, which turns dark and swells, causing my foot to turn completely to the right and become extremely painful. I can't stand on it. How long have you had the swelling? About how large is the affected area? Is your foot painful or tender? Do you have any other medical history the doctor should know?
