I have reduced my A1c from 8.7 to 6.9 in 3 1/2 months and lost 80 pounds. To protect my kidneys from damage, what should my blood pressure be? My current BP is 130/77. Is it true that even well-controlled diabetics can still have kidney damage? I'm trying to reverse my diabetes and get my A1c below 5.7.

I have a metallic taste when I cough, which I've had before and is not fully understood. I am taking probiotics and multivitamins for gut issues, have high ferritin levels, and wonder if it's related. I'm working with a nutritionist to alter my diet, but it's not easy. I also have knee pain and upper leg groin pain, particularly when sitting on a motorbike for long periods. I suspect these issues might be related to stress and diet. What could be causing these symptoms and what steps can I take to address them?

For the last month, I have experienced vomiting and diarrhea on three separate occasions, each lasting for a day before returning to normal. My lab work and physical exams, including liver and gallbladder checks, were normal. I have also had normal results from a colonoscopy, abdominal CT scan, endoscopy, and barium swallow/upper GI test in the past year. I have no stomach pain and no blood in my stool. Could this be something serious like gallbladder, liver, pancreas, or stomach cancer? Considering all these tests were normal, could something bad suddenly develop?
