About laser skin treatment and HSV-1 and HSV-2 risk. I've never had an outbreak in my life and am not sure if I have it. I've heard that the majority of the population has HSV-1. How can I make sure I don't have it before the laser? The tests are not accurate, as per my knowledge. Is it true that the blood test is not accurate and there are a lot of false negatives and positives? Is there a medicine I can take to prevent it just in case I do have it? Also, if I got the laser and have an outbreak, is the outbreak treatable without scars?
