After eating popcorn, I experienced a burning sensation in my sternum area and top of my stomach, which felt hot to touch and persisted despite taking Advil and Tums. I am concerned if this could be something more serious, especially since I also occasionally experience right-sided chest pain. Should I be worried, and are there any specific symptoms I should watch for that would indicate I need immediate medical attention?

My husband was recently released from the hospital after having double pneumonia. He had breathing treatments (nebulizer) in the hospital, which helped ease his symptoms. Now that he is out, he still has slight back pain from the pneumonia and fluid in his lungs. I have a nebulizer but don't know what to add to it for treatment. Is it all the same—saline solution? Is it different for pneumonia as opposed to asthma treatments? Additionally, he woke up with severe chills tonight. Could this indicate an unresolved infection?
