Good morning, the left side of my throat is swollen and I have white bumps on it. It has been a week now, and the whole left side is very painful and tender, making it difficult to swallow. I am a 28-year-old male, not using any medications, and I am otherwise healthy. I have not had a fever and have not been evaluated for the issue. COVID is not common around me. What could be the cause of this, and what should I do?

My 2 year and 9 month old daughter has been having high fever (39.5-40) since Monday afternoon. She has been given child Nerofen every 8 hours, but the fever keeps coming back. She is coughing, breathing heavily through her mouth, and has low energy and no appetite. I have noticed that my neck has become slightly bloated and experiences mild spasms on the left side.
