I had a pilonidal cyst that popped 3 years ago and I didn't see a doctor. I just took a shower and thought it would heal on its own. The hole from where the cyst popped hasn't healed yet. I keep the area clean and shower daily, washing it with warm water and soap. Should I see a doctor after 3 years, especially since I have no problems sitting or running? Is there a home remedy to help it heal after 3 years?

I have been experiencing constant dull ache pain on my left side, below the rib cage and to the left of the belly button, which wraps around to my back along with lower back pain. The pain worsens when transitioning from laying down to sitting up or when lifting my legs while sitting. I had a few discs fused in my thoracic lumbar back in June, which healed without issues, but I was treated for an infection in the area during that time with a 6-week antibiotic. What could be causing this pain and could it be another infection?
