I have pain in my right bicep muscle, forearm, wrist, and hand for about three or four weeks. I have used ibuprofen but have not seen a doctor yet. Additionally, I have intermittent pain in my left ankle that sometimes extends up to my hip, for which I am taking gabapentin. What could be causing this pain and what should I do about it?

I am scheduled to have kidney surgery tomorrow to remove a kidney stone. I am experiencing herpes symptoms even though I have been taking acyclovir for 4 days to prevent this from happening. I have been using acyclovir off and on for years and it has helped most of the time. I have seen a doctor about herpes before but not recently. My herpes symptoms are genital.

I am an 82-year-old female with atrial fibrillation and kidney function at 40%. I am currently taking several medications, including temazepam 15 mg and Tylenol PM, but I am having trouble sleeping at night. I have tried trazodone 50 mg alone without success. Should I try combining trazodone 50 mg with temazepam 15 mg instead of taking Tylenol PM, and what dosage combination would be advisable?
