My total protein is 6.7 (usually 6.7-6.8), my albumin is now 5 (usually 4.5), my globulin level is low at 1.7 (usually normal), and my A/G level is now out of range at 2.9. I have no symptoms or medications for this, and all other test results are fine. I just lost 35 lbs in the last year. What should I do?

I have several health concerns including Guillain-Barré syndrome, meningitis, memory loss, the possibility of blood clots, and sudden vision loss. I also worry about health anxiety and eye drooping. Can you provide information on the risks, symptoms, and treatments for these conditions, and help me understand if my concerns are valid?

My wife was diagnosed with polycystic kidneys. Her creatinine level is 150 and her kidneys function at 52%. She has been losing a lot of protein through her kidneys, especially with her previous animal protein diet. Is it okay for her to switch to a vegan diet rich in plant protein?

My friend, aged 83, has had two to three boil-like infections on the last digit of her finger for several months. They appear to be infected boils with a hard tip. She is currently being treated for gout, but these symptoms do not resemble gout. What could these boils be, and what should be done to treat them?
