I have difficulty breathing when I wake up in the morning and when I'm excited, and I am full of gas in my stomach. My breathing returns to normal within 15 minutes. I have sleep apnea, a negative chest X-ray, and I am a non-smoker. My doctor has checked my chest and found everything normal. I have no cough or phlegm. What is my chance of having COPD?

Over the past 30 years, I have had anorexia and bulimia (not active at this point). However, I only eat two foods, do not eat with others, or go out to eat. Is this just a quirk, or would you consider it disordered eating?

Two weeks ago, my right tonsil was sore but then went away after a couple of days. Now, I have a bad taste/smell coming from the back of my throat even though I brush, floss, and use mouthwash regularly. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I recently went to the hospital for mid-level pain in my upper abdomen, centered to the right side. I have often had discomfort here, but all blood tests were normal. This last time, my lipase was at 88 ul and there was tenderness, no fever or other issues. The doctor said I had mild pancreatitis and advised me to quit binge drinking. I am a social drinker, about 3 pints several times a week, sometimes I binge drink but not often. I have had nothing to eat for 3 days except vitamin water, a few pieces of pizza yesterday afternoon were okay, but a piece last night caused discomfort lasting to this morning. I do not know if I have acute pancreatitis or if I can have chronic pancreatitis without a previous serious episode. I am unsure of what to eat or what this mild dull discomfort means. Note that I have had this discomfort before, especially after drinking, but never really thought of food as a cause. Does it sound like pancreatitis, and is it likely chronic?
