What's going on with my body that I keep having these infections of different things? Is it just a fluke thing or can there be something more going on?

I have had IBS for almost 13 years, with bowel movements occurring once every 2 weeks. After taking antibiotics for suspected bacterial prostatitis, my bowel movements changed to 1-3 times a week, with less pain and gas. Do you think the antibiotics caused these changes, and should I be concerned about this new regularity?
